Getting to Know Zoom Poker

Zoom Poker completely changes the concept of Poker that we are used to: this idea of sitting at a table with 1 to 9 fixed opponents.

In Zoom Poker, the people you play against change from hand to hand, round to round, in the blink of an eye. You're playing against a group that can number in the thousands.

This is how it all works: when you fold your hand, you are automatically moved to a new table. You have the right to do this at any time you are facing a bet, including with the “Fast Fold” button, which allows you to abandon the game before it is even your turn. And this is precisely what drastically speeds up the action in the disputes!

Still in Beta, Zoom Poker has games at a wide range of stakes. Starting from NL2 and going up to NL100, it has variations such as Limit Hold'em and Omaha.

To join a Zoom table, simply click Zoom beta in the lobby of the PokerStars and choose your favorite game and stake.

Once you have made your selection, you will be immediately placed in a group, most likely in the Big Blind seat. From then on, you will be seated at a random location for each game.

The software allows you to play at up to 4 tables simultaneously. However, decisions on Zoom Poker are extremely fast. Therefore, if you are a beginner, we recommend starting with just one table at a time and increasing your pace over time.

If at any point you want to fold your hand but want to know the outcome, simply hold down the CTRL button while clicking Fold. This will keep the table open and you can watch the round play out!

Zoom Poker currently provides 3 animations for use: Fade, Flip and Slide. These can be found by accessing the “Options” menu, “Table Display Options” and “Zoom Animation”. The user can also turn off the animations if they wish.

In the future, other stakes, game types and tournaments may be added to Zoom Poker. Stay tuned!
