Blackjack Rules in vsJack

Blackjack is a simple yet sophisticated game where the goal is to get as close to 21 as possible.

What’s new in vsJack is a new way to play this, one of the most famous card games in the world. In this variation, the game is played only by players, meaning you can take the position of the dealer and take advantage of this advantage that was exclusive to the casino in conventional games.

The game's interface and mechanics have been designed to enhance the player's experience and make the game work in a very dynamic way.

Check out the basic rules of Blackjack.

Value of cards

Numbered cards are worth the number they have, that is, card 8 is worth 8, 2 is worth 2, etc.
Face cards (King, Queen, Jack) and 10s are worth 10 points.
An Ace can be worth 1 or 11. If you go over 21 with an Ace in your hand, the Ace will be worth 1, preventing you from going bust.

BlackJack is the biggest game possible, to make a BlackJack you must receive an Ace and any other card or 10, adding the value of the two cards, you have 21.

If the player has a BlackJack and the Dealer does not have a BlackJack the dealer pays the player before any action occurs at the table.

If both players have Blackjack, it is a tie and both players receive their bets back. The other players lose and pay the dealer without the possibility of any action.

If the dealer has a BlackJack, and no other player has had a BlackJack, the dealer instantly wins the hand and there is no action in that round.

When a player receives two identical cards, he has the option to “open” the cards, giving him a double chance of playing. However, even if the cards are BlackJack, this will not be counted as BlackJack, but as 21. A hand is only considered BlackJack when it is made right after you receive your cards, having an Ace and a ten or any face card.

Actions

Hit
You receive another card that will be counted towards your game score. If you go over 21 you bust, if you don't bust you have the option to ask for another card until you reach 21.

Stand
This option is useful when you are satisfied with your current hand. By choosing Stand, you keep your cards and pass the action to the next player.

Double
Double your bet (if you were betting 1 you will bet 2) and a new card will be dealt to you (option not available as dealer). After receiving the card, your participation in the round ends and the action passes.

Split
If the first 2 cards dealt are of equal value (Ex. 3, 3 or 5, 5 or K, K) you can open your cards, forming two new hands. These two new hands can be played like any other, they are independent (option not available as dealer)

Hand example:

Player 1: :As :Js (Blackjack, won the hand and was paid by the dealer before the round started)
Player 2: :Td :8c (Total 18, stopped)
Player 3: :Tc :4d :8d (Total 22, bust)
Dealer: :Ks :Qs (Total 20, stood)

The Dealer in this case wins the bet of players 2 and 3, and pays to player 1.

The Dealer

The dealer is always playing against all the other players, so if you are the dealer you better pay attention to the other players' play, any hand that is higher than theirs, you win! If you are not the dealer, you simply need to beat the hand that the dealer has in his hand, and don't worry about making higher hands than your opponents.
