Rodrigo da Silva: Has anyone made a poker table and would have the models to share with me?
I want to make a table for 10 players, and I wanted to know its dimensions.
Some comments would be interesting for me to be able to improve my idea.
Petrillo: I don't have the answer to your question, but are you sure that doing it at home will give you a good cost-benefit ratio?
Do some good research before purchasing the material.
Unless you're from a family in the furniture business! 😉 In that case, I want to place an order!! 😀
Rodrigo da Silva: So I'm going to make one, if it's good I'll post a picture of it and if you like it, we can negotiate... hehehehehehehe
Garden: I have one at home…
It's not poker per se, but it's card-playing... it's pretty cool... my uncle bought it, but it was pretty expensive... talk of 3 thousand at the time... that was about 2 years ago...
henrique_bio: Hi Rodrigo,
I have a suggestion: Instead of making a poker table, why don't you buy those tops they sell on the internet?
I don't know if the construction cost is more advantageous, but you can find good prices on internet auction sites for these tops :coolgleam:.
In addition to being adaptable to any table, you can transport them anywhere :happy34:!
Marcelo: Old topic, but here it goes:
Two cool options:

You can find a lot of the material on eBay.
poker table: the measurements are 2.80cm long, 1.40 wide and 75 high. I'm selling a table like this for R$ 1,800.00 complete with top and legs.

Put a picture there!! :happy34:
Vadiu: where are you from?
Petrillo: Great André!
Post photos/website about your work!!
What prices do you charge?
Elisandro: One thing I hadn't even looked for yet, tables, even though I started playing poker less than 4 months ago, and doing a live with the guys is difficult, getting back to the subject, I did a quick search on Google and what I found for tables were for 8 players, prices between R$200.00 and $350.00.
Of course, if you have space and can buy a table for 10 people, it is much more interesting.
Bin Dalen: Guys, I've been playing for about 2 years. We used to play on a kitchen table for 6 people (1.40m x 0.80m). The group grew and it was necessary to enlarge the table. So I had a top made of 18mm plywood. To not take up too much space, it folds in half with built-in hinges. Here is the drawing of the table. Material + labor = R$$250.00.
zephyrtear: This one rose from the ashes, there's another more recent one on the same subject...
I built a table and posted photos and some tips for anyone who wants to put it together…
I can't post links yet, but it's in this topic:

Marcelo: Another Poker Tips partnership.
I found a company that manufactures high quality poker tables, and pokerdicas users get a 5% discount (just say you saw the table here).
Just look:

Petrillo: Very pretty! I contacted them and took more pictures… I will also check if there are other models!
If anyone is interested, send me a PM and I'll make the connection! 😀
prof_anselmo: Guys, some player friends of mine here in Maringá did something really cheap
with a wooden top, green cloth and resurfaced foam… and they placed the tops on top of bar tables… it looked really cool
Baêta: Guys, I'm manufacturing poker tables. Affordable prices for everyone and excellent quality and finish.
Can be customized.

MARCELO0310: Hi guys! I've already made two poker tables. The first one was for 6 players for 5 draw hexagonal poker with 6 drawers, ashtray holder and automatic built-in cup holder and it was awesome. When we changed to holdem I made a table in 4 days even though I'm not a carpenter, but I really like to invent things in wood.
My biggest difficulty was making the edge of the table, especially because there is a part that would be an upholsterer's job because it is made of leatherette and foam. I needed to use a jigsaw, stapler, hammer, screwdriver, scissors and a Makita to cut the straight parts that I turned into a bench saw. For my holdem table, I used a 15-inch sheet of plywood, 3 meters of 3.5X3.5 cedar (solid wood for reinforcement underneath the table), 2 meters of leatherette, 1.5 meters of 20 mm foam and in the center of the table (lining) I lined it with pre-shrunk blue fabric; but since it was the first one I made, I just messed around by putting cloth, but the next one I'm making will come out better and I'm going to line it with wine-colored leatherette. Underneath the lining I'll use a thin 1 to 2 mm foam so that it's easy to pick up the cards. The table measures 2.20×1.20 and we have already played with 10 on it, although it is not the ideal size, it was still possible to play.
I spent more or less R$220 and it was worth it because a similar one on the market costs about R$700. The photo of it is on my Orkut. The big difference between a professional table and the one I made is precisely the edge; because for practicality and economy reasons I divided the edge of it instead of covering it entirely because it would have cost a lot of leatherette to make just one table.
I'm making a new table with 18-inch MDF and this one will definitely be much better and bigger. When I made the first one, I did it in a hurry and it couldn't be bigger than 2.20 because there was no bigger plywood; and with the MDF I'll make it 2.50×1.50 because the MDF measures 2.83×1.83 and I won't be in a hurry because this time I have enough time to make the perfect table including a cup holder and plenty of space.
For those who want to see photos of my work, my Orkut account is [email protected] On this Orkut there is a folder that says carpentry and you will get an idea of my madness with carpentry.
I hope you like it. It's a start. Hugs to all.
Vadiu: Thanks for sharing your experience, Marcelo. In the next posts, try to divide the paragraphs to make them easier to read.
Petrillo: Great Marcelo0310, welcome!
If you could include the photos here, that would be great (I couldn't find your profile on Orkut), but the report alone was quite interesting, since you included quantities and measurements, which gives people a good idea.
Who knows, maybe you can create a step-by-step tutorial? (it can be with video or photos!)
It would be a success!
Thanks!
Eduardo Alves: Hey guys, if anyone is interested in seeing a really professional poker table, I've already done several with my uncle.
some photos

and we also made a new one and sold it, if you want to see the photos just send an email asking: [email protected]
Making a table like this, without someone who understands it, can be complicated. There are many different ways to make a table. Sizes, molds, Formica or no Formica, coasters... etc.
If you want a table, just send an email. If you have any questions about how to do it, I can help.
– about measures
– the best wood
– which table is best for your case
– the “cloth” used inside the table
– the formica sheet (which is on the table surface)
– among other questions..
It will be a pleasure to try to help!!
just send an email. [email protected]
thanks!!
jonjonmappa: man, those tables of yours are really nice, can you tell me the price of just one?
vlw
and you have talent

I don't know if you commented on my table photos, or if it was from other friends on the forum... if it's me, THANKS!!! 🙂
About prices: they vary greatly depending on what each person wants on their table.
//i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i384/real_poker/100_1523.jpg?t=1300892071
I sold that one for R$ 1,300.00 (one thousand and three hundred reais). We got a good price because the person asked for 2 (as you can see in the photo).
this other one here..
//i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i384/real_poker/100_1566.jpg?t=1300892071
I sold it to a friend for R$950.00 (nine hundred and fifty reais).
I believe I offer the best price on the market for this type of very professional table, with legs made of MDF and everything else. I've already found websites with double the prices I mentioned here.
If anyone has a website that has better prices, post it here, because I've never found any on sales sites or websites either.
Thanks, hugs to everyone!
HEADS UP! LOL
jonjonmappa: Yes friend, it was with you that I also said, I think your tables are very cheap, it's a shame I'm broke at the moment, but that's it, keep it up. :)
Eduardo Alves: Thanks!!!!
As I said, I haven't found any lower prices yet.
If you know someone who is interested, just send an email, ok!?
hug!
'keep going .. “)
jonjonmappa: I'll try to find you some buyers, I'll ask some people here, I know anything, I'll let you know, thanks
Eduardo Alves: Ok friend.. if you get some buyers, you end up not getting a GREAT thank you 😉
It will be a pleasure!
Posting 2 photos here for you to see of a table I sold last week;

Hey, good evening Diego Model!
Welcome!
Boy, it's always possible to transform things if we have the resources/patience/technique and creativity.
If it’s more of a family and friends thing, go for it! There should be tips and tutorials on the internet… You can buy the felt/cloth at a fabric store. You can add “leather” to the edges and so on…
If you want something more chic/professional, I recommend saving your money and buying a ready-made table. There are several stores these days, so I imagine the price is more affordable.
VIVÃO: We in the village bought one in ten installments each, giving about 20 reais at most per month. Whoever won the tournaments would have to pay forty the following month and we quickly paid it off. Unfortunately, we don't play as much these days.

The problem with dividing things like this is that sooner or later there will be problems…
I “own” approx. 15% of a table, along with another friend who has 15% and another who has 70%. The table is on the farm of the guy who has 70%, but the problem is that he doesn’t take poker as seriously as I do (and the other friend), so we can only play (for free or with very low buy-ins) when he feels like it – which would be almost never.
I would have preferred not to have helped pay if I had known it would be like this. It has to be a close-knit group that really likes the game, if it's to be split. Or you can pay for the table yourself, because then if you get tired of it one day you can sell it and get back at least $, you don't have to depend on others.
VIVÃO: Oh yes. We only play about twice a month, but let's see if we can get together more often this year. If not, we can sell it or leave it at the house of one of them who plays regularly and charge rent.
prof_anselmo: the table in the photo is great, and it doesn't seem to be difficult to make. The problem is that you need equipment to be able to do a good job, but any carpenter can cut an MDF top for cheap. The rest is very easy to do, as shown in the video.
