If the tournament has a real money buy-in, you will need to make a deposit to play. If it's a freeroll, this shouldn't be necessary.

Yes, Saulo! We confirmed this with them a couple of days ago (we changed the information in the freeroll post).
Making a deposit isn't a big problem, and I'll explain why:
1-Even if you didn't have to, let's say you won $50 in a freeroll and wanted to cash out. You'd have to deposit! (practically every room requires a deposit to get a withdrawal).
2-Depositing doesn't mean losing the money. You could deposit to "activate" the account so that you can play the freerolls and, if necessary, withdraw the money later.
3-This filters the field, making the number of participants smaller and the chance of winning greater.
It has many more advantages than disadvantages. And they ask for a single deposit to activate your account for an unlimited time. It's a small price to "pay" for big advantages.

Exactly! The T$ appear, but the cash ones are included in the balance.
I've used T$ in sit&go double or nothing (it's not just for MTT).
I'm just confused because it says I need to reach a certain rake to release the bonus, but it's already in the account... I think it's for withdrawing.

Which method was the deposit made on the 3rd? The deadline for the bonus is 72 hours (which would end on Friday, theoretically, but we believe that bonuses are not credited on Saturdays and Sundays), so let's wait until the end of today (Monday, 09). If you still don't receive the bonus, send me a PM (private message).
